Message from the CEO 
Here at Utilities & Industries we are preparing for a busy trade show season. This month Utilities & Industries will have a booth at the Southern Gas Association Spring Conference in Columbia, South Carolina. We are anticipating making new contacts and catching up with current customers at this expo. This will be our second SGA expo and we could not be more excited as we continue to grow as a business.
We added a few new features to our website through out the past couple of months. One of them being a “Request a Quote” feature. This will allow people who are curious about our services get familiar with our pricing structure and get comfortable dealing with our meter specialists.
I am looking forward to watching Utilities & Industries grow and I am excited to be introducing our unique services to potential customers.
SGA 2016 Spring Conference
Utilities & Industries will be attending their 2nd Southern Gas Operating Conference. This year the spring conference is being held in Columbia, South Carolina on March 14th, 15th, and 16th.
Utilities & Industries will have an 8x10 corner booth space where they will showcase there ability to save natural gas utility companies money by recapitalizing/ refurbishing there gas meters. Utilities will be handing out pamphlets of information about all of there different products and services. You also do not want to miss out on all of the giveaways we will be raffling out!
Our booth number is 125 and the show hours are March 14th 4:30-6:30 p.m., March 15th 7:00a.m. -6:30 p.m. , and March 16th from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

Warehousing
In recent months Utilities & Industries has expanded their warehousing facility. Utilities & Industries now has over 60,000 square feet of warehouse space available for customers.
Utilities & Industries offers low monthly rates for their warehousing services. U&I’s warehousing services include: Inventory Lot Control, Parts Packaging, Labeling, Break Bulk, Visual Inspection for Damaged Parts, and more!

Christmas Party 2015
This year Utilities & Industries held there Christmas Party at the Bellamauro in Reynoldsville, Pa. Their party was held with their sister company Brookville Glove. This year everyone that attended the party received a present, sweatshirt, and ham.
Utilities & Industries enjoys putting on the Christmas Party and enjoys rewarding its employees for all of their hard work.

Utilities & Industries is always updating and maintaining their website. They recently added a new feature to the website. Consumers who are interested in how much Utilities & Industries services cost can now Request a Quote on their website.
This feature is also useful for customers who have a special project in mind and would like an estimated cost.
More than a Meter Shop
Utilities & Industries is more than a meter shop. Not only does Utilities & Industries repair, test, and recalibrate your gas meters like their own, they offer a variety of other unique services that very few companies have.
One of these services is Gas Meter Disposal. Instead of disposing your gas meters that you normally would have no use for, U&I is willing to take them off of your hands. They dispose of their gas meters in an environmentally friendly way.
Utilities & Industries also has a Custom Fabrication shop. Their custom fab shop can build many different meter sets and regulation stations to meet your companies specs.
U&I also offers a Corrosion Meter Paint Program, Climate Controlled Environmental Testing Chamber, TC Calibration, Logistics/Transportation, and much more.

Message from the CEO
I am excited to be putting out our first Quarterly Newsletter. So much has happened here at Utilities & Industries in the past couple months and we are busier than ever! Our business has significantly increased, in which we are looking into running a full second shift. This years customer appreciation day was very exciting. We had a great turn out and had new participants. Utilities & Industries staff enjoyed their time with all of the customers and it was a really informative event.
Also in early September we added a 2015 24’ Freight liner box truck with an Air Ride trailer to our fleet. We wanted to add more reliable trucks to our fleet , to serve our customers better.
Utilities & Industries has also added many new customers to our database, which in turn we are now serving utility companies all across the United States. We hope to continue our growth in 2016 by attending more trade shows and gas conferences.
I wish everyone a happy holiday season, and I look forward to keeping you all informed in the New Year!
Customer Appreciation Day
This year our annual Customer Appreciation day was a huge success. As a company we really look forward to holding this event every year, we enjoy taking the time to get to know our customers and thank them for all that they do.
This year for the first time ever we did a two day event. One day we took our customers golfing and then out to dinner with all of our management staff. The second day we held our open house. We also had a corn hole tournament and skeet shoot. Customers were also able to take the time to meet with our meter specialist Rich Filer and our CEO Brian Dougherty. We are already looking forward to planning next years event.
Request a Catalog
When potential customers hear the name “Utilities & Industries”, they may not necessarily know who and what we are. To solve that problem we have added a new feature to our website that allows potential customers to request a catalog that includes an out line of who we are and what we have to offer as a company. The catalog is completely free and we can either email it electronically or send a hard copy in the mail.
Pink Out 2015
Utilities & Industries had its first ever Pink Out this October. All employees were involved in this event. For every employee that wore pink , Utilities & Industries, donated $10. We let our employees vote on who or where they wanted the money to be donated to. Together we raised $500 for a little boy with a rare type of cancer.Utilities & Industries hopes to make this an annual event.
New Box Truck 
In early September Utilities & Industries obtained a brand new 2015 box truck! All of our trucks here have Air Ride trailers. Air Ride trailers are crucial in the delivery process due to the sensitivity of the meters.

Custom Paint Program

Chinese Auction for American Cancer Society
For the entire month of November we had a Chinese Auction for our employees. Everyone was asked to bring in a gift a basket, each gift basket brought in was put on display in the employee break room. For the entire month of November employees were given the opportunity to purchase chances. On November 25th we held the drawing and picked the winners of each basket that was brought in.
For this event we let our employees vote on the non profit organization we would donate the money too. This year they chose the American Cancer Society. Utilities & Industries decided to have this event in November to kick of the Holiday season with our employees.
2016 Outlook
2015 is quickly coming to an end and we are really looking forward to the new year. We hope that in 2016 we continue our rapid growth. To help with that growth Utilities & Industries plans on attending various trade shows and gas conferences throughout the United States. We feel attending these shows will allow us to connect with our current and future customers. Utilities & Industries looks forward to seeing everyone in 2016!
